computer screen. The default desktop size for a new computer will normally
be set to either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 resolution. Resolution is the
term used to describe the amount of dots per inch your computer screen
will display. Generally, the higher the resolution, the better quality
the picture. The pictures you see on your computer screen are made up
of colored dots like on a TV. The more dots, the higher the definition

To determine the resolution your screen is being displayed
at is quite simple. Just follow these instructions.
1) Right-Click on an empty part of your screen where there are no
windows open or icons.
2) Select "Properties" from the menu that appears
3) Click on "Settings" at the top of the box that appears
4) Look for something called "Screen area" this will tell
you the resolution or screen size as it's also known.
5) You can adjust the screen resolution by sliding the slider. When
you click OK, windows will test your computer screen and graphics
card to see if they are compatible with your selection. Follow the
simple on screen instructions and repeat as necessary.
